What is Supportive Housing?

Supportive housing is a strategy that combines affordable housing with intensive coordinated services to help people struggling with chronic physical and mental health issues maintain stable housing and receive appropriate health care. Services can include such elements as case management, development of resources, counseling, problem solving, mediation, etc. Dispensation of medications is dependent on licensure.
